The five candlesticks were turned from kiln-dried cherry purchased online. They range in height from 8” to 14”.
I used 1/2” and 3/8” bowl gouges and a narrow parting tool to do the turning.
Sanded mostly by hand but also used a Dremel for some of the rough sanding.
Finished with two coats Linseed oil, 3:1 mix of alcohol and shellac to seal and finished with 5 coats of lacquer.
