Ink Refill – Executive Style Pen

Changing the ink refill in your Executive handmade wooden pen easy. These ballpoint pens are acrylic hand-turned pens and use a “Parker style” ink refill. Because different style pens take different style inks, it’s important to know which ink refill you need for your Executive style pen.

This style pen requires the Parker-style ink which writes very smooth and the ballpoint moves easily across the paper. Change the ink when your pen’s ink is used up, or change the ink to a different color if desired. Follow the tutorial below to learn how to change the ink on your executive style pen.

How To Change Ink Refill On Executive Pen Handmade Wood

Changing Ink in Executive Style Pens

Step 1

Grasp the barrel of the pen and pull the twist post off from the pen. The post end is the end nearest the clip. This will expose the twist mechanism of the executive pen.

Step 2

Unscrew the twist mechanism by holding the barrel and twisting the mechanism counter-clockwise until it is released from the barrel of the pen.

Step 3

Remove the ink refill from the pen. There will be a spring on the tip of the ink refill. Be sure to note the orientation of the sping as the spring is slightly tapered and will affect the operation of the pen if placed on the new refill backward.

Step 4Parker Style Ink Refill for Editor, Tiny Giant Pens

Replace the ink cartridge with a Parker Style Ink Refill by placing the spring on the tip of the refill and placing it inside the body of the pen.

The refill should drop all the way down into the pen.

Step 5

Screw the twist mechanism, clockwise, back into the barrel of the pen.

Step 6

Push the twist-post back onto the twist mechanism to complete the installation of your new ink refill.
