Ink Refill – Jr Gent / Jr Gentlemen’s Rollerball Pen
Changing the ink refill on your Jr Gentlemen’s handmade pen quite straightforward. This rollerball pen is made with wood or acrylic, hand-turned, and use a Schmit style ink refill. Because different style pens take different style inks, it’s important to know which ink refill you need for your pen.
This style pen requires the Schmidt 888 rollerball ink which writes ultra-smooth and is a favorite of rollerball pen users. Change the ink when your pen’s ink is used up, or change the ink to a different color if desired. Follow the tutorial below to learn how to change the ink on your tiny giant or Jr Gentlemen’s rollerball pen.

Changing Ink on Jr. Gentlemen’s Rollerball Pens
Remove the cap from the pen to expose the nib. Unscrew the nib by holding onto the body of the pen and twisting the nib counterclockwise.
Remove the ink cartridge from the pen.
Slide the new Schmidt 888 rollerball ink refill into the pen. Make sure the ink refill is seated properly inside the pen. There is a spring in the post of the pen, so the ink should slide up against the spring at the other end of the pen. You won’t be able to see the spring, but it is there.
Replace the nib by screwing it back onto the pen in a clockwise fashion.
