Ink Refill – Editor, Tiny Giant, or Pro-Script Pen

Changing the ink refill on your Editor, Tiny Giant, or Pro-Script handmade wooden pen quite simple. These ballpoint pens are capped wood or acrylic hand-turned pens and use an ink refill called “Parker style”. Because different style pens take different style inks, it’s important to know which ink refill you need for your pen.

This style pen requires the Parker-style ink which writes very smooth and is a favorite of most people. Change the ink when your pen’s ink is used up, or change the ink to a different color if desired. Follow the tutorial below to learn how to change the ink on your tiny giant or editor style pen.

Changing Ink on Tiny Giant, Editor, or Pro-Script Style Pens

Step 1

Remove the cap from the ink end of the pen.

Step 2

While holding the barrel of the pen, unscrew the pen’s nib. This will expose the ink refill cartridge. There is no spring in this style pen, so don’t get confused and get on your hands and knees looking for a dropped spring. 😅

Step 3

Slide the ink cartridge out of the pen body.

Step 4Parker Style Ink Refill for Editor, Tiny Giant Pens

Replace the ink cartridge with a Parker Style Ink Refill by sliding a new ink refill into the pen body.

Make sure the ink refill is seated properly into the pen, wiggle it a little bit. The ink refill should be seated so when the nib is screwed back onto the pen, the ink protrudes a comfortable distance for writing.

Step 5

Screw the nib back onto the pen.
