This bowl is from a very large oak tree that needed to be cut down for it destroyed my sister and brother-in-law’s driveway. Sadly I was only able to get a log from it since I do not have the tool to cut anything larger.

I was able to make a live edge bowl to give to them to remember the tree that cost them a lot of money to get removed. Ha!

This is from the piece I had leftover. I love the look of the salting and the sunburst of the center. This is like the fourth bowl I have ever turned. I thought it came out pretty nice.
