Own a piece of history!
Hand crafted pen includes a piece of wood from Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The wood was removed in 1897 during renovations.
A piece of the wood has been set in epoxy resin on the background of the Declaration of Independence. The piece was then hand turned. After turning, it was hand buffed to a beautiful shine and finished with bolt-action style pen hardware.
Independence Hall wood has remained in private collections for years. We we were lucky enough to acquire a piece at auction in June of 2019. I have crafted this pen using a piece of cedar beam from the collection.
The Declaration of Independence was adopted and signed in the building where this wood was sourced.
A perfect gift for yourself or someone who loves American history. A patriot, constitutionalist, military family member, history buff, or anyone who loves a great conversation piece.
Set in a bolt action pen (the bolt makes the ink extend and retract) featuring rifle pocket clip and bullet tip nib.
Includes wooden display box as shown.
