Many factors come into play and maple can be a very light toned wood, or as you can see here, a medium toned wood, especially when a food-safe oil finish is applied.

Handmade wood bowls are a staple in home decor. There’s nothing like having a live edge handmade wooden bowl as a centerpiece on your kitchen table!

A handcrafted wood bowl made from a New Hampshire Red Maple tree that was struck by lightning! It is a very hard wood with beautiful grain patterns, sap inclusions, and of course, two live edges.

Your new hand-turned wood bowl was crafted in my woodshop.

This maple wooden bowl is perfect rustic home decor, will fit in with any farmhouse decor as well as modern decor.

Live edge is present along the edges of the rim as seen in the photographs.

Great to use as a rustic decor piece, salad bowl, kitchen centerpiece – add pine cones for a more rustic touch!
