The featured ring in this segmented vase is made using Kumiko patterns, which is a Japanese style of woodworking.

The two patterns are Asanoha and Yotsuba Izutsu-Tsugi and are made using basswood and filled with Alumilite resin.

The vase is made from cherry, walnut, and maple and is 24” tall x 9.5” in diameter.
